CMCC sophomores Susie French & Maggie Sabine were named USCAA Division-2 1st Team All-Americans last night at the 2013 USCAA All-American Banquet. This marks the first time in almost a decade that a Lady Mustang has recieved this honor. French was also named a USCAA Academic All-American!
On the year, French is averaging 19.5 points, 7 rebounds, and 4 assists per game while shooting 50% from the floor. French was also named a Yankee Conference 1st Team All-Star, the Yankee Conference Player of the Year, and the Yankee Conference Tournament Best Defensive Player earlier this month.
Maggie Sabine is currently averaging 16 points, 11.6 rebounds, and 4.2 assists per game while shooting 48% from the floor and over 77% from the FT line. Sabine was named a Yankee Confernece 1st Team All-Star and the Yankee Conference Tournament MVP earlier this month.
The Lady Mustangs are back in action on Thursday when they put their #1 ranking on the line in the USCAA National Tournament in Uniontown, PA. CM will be playing #8 Penn State Fayette in a 6:00pm game.
