Mustangs Suffer First Home Loss

Auburn, ME - The Mustang's suffered their first in conference loss of the season at home against Southern Maine Community College Thursday. Midway through the first half Hilowle Aden had a chance to put CM up 1-0 with a penalty shot but the Sea Wolves goalkeeper made an impressive save to keep the game scoreless. Southern Maine didn't have many opportunities but they finished two of their first four shots to lead the game 2-0 at half time. The second half saw a lot of shots from both teams but neither team could find the net. Jon Ross Caron had nine saves in the loss for Central Maine. Osman Bashir and Yussuf Shinio played well in the midfield for CM while Erik Waite and Brian Kearns did well on defense.
