Despite taking a ten point lead into halftime, the mustangs couldn't hang on and lost a nail biter to the University of Maine at Machias in overtime, 95-91.  CM lead in regulation by three but the clippers Aaron Van Buren knocked down a deep three at the buzzer to put the game into overtime.  In OT, the Mustangs went down by four with one minute left.  A Brandon Giguere three brought the home team back to a one point deficit with thirty nine ticks on the clock.  After an offensive foul call, CM again moved up the court and set up another look for Brandon.  He back rimed the shot with five seconds left in overtime. 

Five mustangs hit for double figures: Justin Cocroft went off for 21 points, Samson Oleyami hit for 15 points, Jalen Lincoln had 14 points, and Cody Hadley and Brandon Giguere chipped in with 10 points.  The loss drops CM to a 16-8 record.  The squad faces Unity College this Wednesday at home and travels to rival SMCC Thursday to take on the SMCC SeaWolves.
