Women’s Ice Hockey ID Skate and Meet & Greet

Auburn, ME – The CMCC Women's Ice Hockey team is holding an ID skate for high school girls hockey players on Saturday, July 26th at 11:00 am at Norway Savings Bank Arena. The hour-long session is open to rising high school juniors and seniors, as well as recent graduates, and will give players the chance to get on the ice and practice with the Mustangs women's hockey squad.

Players will also have the opportunity to meet and talk with new head coach Doug Dieuveuil to learn more about Central Maine's second-year program.

Interested athletes can register for the event by filling out the form at this link: cmmustangs.com/information/recruiting/wice_recruit. All participating players are required to wear full protective gear and must sign a waiver, with parents signing on behalf of students who are under 18 years old.

CMCC women's hockey is heading into its second season. The Mustangs will compete as a full member of the Independent Women's Club Hockey League (IWCHL) in 2025-26 and will play in the six-team Adirondack Division North along with UMaine, Bates, UNE, Norwich, and UMass Lowell. The team had an impressive inaugural 2024-25 campaign, finishing with a 7-5-0 record and picking up impressive wins against UMaine, Dartmouth, and Bates.
