Auburn, ME - After a long road trip, the Mustangs were saluted by a welcoming crowd Tuesday night, but unfortunately were not able to reward themselves dropping a tough loss 4-3 against Thomas College.
In what was a high intensity game, the Mustangs were able to control most of the play but a couple mental errors and bounces in front of the net would see the Terrier score 4 goals. "It is tough and you see how much the guys care which is exactly the mentality we want. However we have to put teams away early when we get a chance and we failed to do that tonight. I thought when Sam hit the post to almost put us up 3-1 was a key momentum switch. It didn't fall our way tonight but we have to respond moving forward as we have a long season ahead of us," said Head Coach Knoren.
The Mustangs won't have to wait long for redemption as they face a tough road game against Dartmouth who has hasn't lost a regular season game in a couple of years.
