Poland, ME – CMCC Golf's Brian Bilodeau claimed first place overall in the individual results at the CMCC Invitational, while the Mustangs settled for second place in the team results at Fairlawn Golf Course. Bilodeau shot a 69 (-3) to lead the other 18 golfers by six strokes on the afternoon.
Bryson Mattox (80), Will Routhier (82), Gavin Lenahan (89), and Dustin Farrington (90) also posted rounds for the Mustangs with the top four scores giving them a team total of 320 (+32), good for second overall behind UMaine-Augusta's 312 (+24). NHTI had a 338 (+50) and Kennebec Valley CC posted a 368 (+80) to round out the four team field.
Joining Bilodeau in the top five individual results were UMA's Mason Green (75, +3), NHTI's Bronson Ammann (78, +6), and UMA's Ryan Lai, Grant Stubbs, and Arjun Dhanoa who all finished tied for fourth overall with rounds of 79 (+7).
The Golf team next has a two week break before returning to play at The Meadows Golf Club for the UMaine Augusta Invitational on September 20th.
