Auburn, ME - The Central Maine Men's Basketball Program and Head Men's Basketball Coach Dave Gonyea is pleased to announce Daniel Judd of Montreal, Quebec has committed to the Mustangs.
Danny played his high school ball for James Lyng High School and off season played for the Longuevil Tornados, Wolfpac elite, and Ymha Wolves.
In high school, Danny was his team's Most Valuable player in 2013 and won the 2013 GMAA High School Game MVP.
According to Men's Basketball Coach Dave Gonyea, "Danny played most of his career in Montreal then transferred to Halifax to finish out his senior year in high school. He is a respectful young man who has a quiet demeanor. He shoots and handles the ball well and seems to employ a high basketball IQ. However, his most positive trait and one of the reasons I look forward to coaching him is his ability to listen, learn and attempt to perform the skills he is taught. I suspect he will be a kid we need to keep the gym open half the night for!!"
Danny comments:
"I choose CM because everyone on campus is very nice and welcoming. The teachers and the coaching staff are great people. I truly believe that the basketball program here is a great fit for me and where I can learn and improve as a basketball player and as a person on and off the court."
