2025-26: As a freshman, played in 18 games making 14 starts as a center back... Started first game of the season in a 1-1 draw at Bridgton Academy. Became a starter for the remainder of the season after an injury to captain and fellow center back Alfie Bashford against SMCC. Helped the Mustangs keep 12 clean sheets… Started all five postseason games, as CMCC also earned its fifth straight Yankee Small College Conference title and second straight USCAA DII National Championship with a 2-0 win over the University of Cincinnati-Clermont in the title game.
Prior to CMCC: Graduated from Maranacook Community High School. Played soccer, basketball, and lacrosse all four years for the Black Bears. Was a team captain as a junior and senior, earning 2nd-Team Mountain Valley Conference (MVC) All-Star honors as a senior after being a 1st-Team MVC All-Star and named to the Southern Maine Class C Regional All-Star Team as a junior… Played three years of club soccer for Dutch Soccer Academy (DSA) United and one season for the Maine Olympic Development Program (ODP) team.
Personal: Parents are Michael and Dawn Maceda. Has a sister, Carolyne. Had an aunt play basketball and two cousins play baseball for CMCC… Away from the field, Mitchell enjoys hunting, fishing, camping, boating, and snowmobiling.
What made you choose to attend CMCC?
“To get my degree in Electromechanical Technology, continue to work on my soccer skills, and free college tuition.”
