2024-25: As a sophomore, tallied a single-season program-record 59 points on 32 goals and 27 assists in 28 games in his first season at CMCC. Led the team in goals, assists, points, shots (248), and powerplay goals (10)... Had a hat trick in a 9-1 win at UNE. Had 11 multi-goal games. Registered a season-high 6 points in a 9-4 win against St. Thomas Aquinas at the ACHA showcase in Pennsylvania... Helped lead team to second straight appearance at ACHA National Championships.
2023-24: As a freshman at Liberty University, played 25 games for the Flames ACHA D2 hockey team, tallying 6 goals and 13 assists.
Prior to CMCC: Graduated from Falmouth High School. Played hockey for the Navigators. Scored 33 goals and 33 assists in 19 games as a senior, becoming the first Maine Class A high school player to surpass 60 points (along with teammate Mitchell Ham) since 2007-08. Was a finalist for the 2023 Travis Roy Award given out to the top senior in Maine high school hockey… Played AAA hockey with the Maine Nordiques 16U and Seacoast Performance Academy 18U teams. Played youth hockey growing up in Lewiston.
Personal: Parents are Adam and Maria Higgins. Has a brother, Danny, and sister, Emile… Away from the rink Aaron enjoys playing pick-up basketball.
