AUBURN, ME - Teira Durgin scored 17 of her game-high 25 points in the second half as Central Maine Community College turned a one-point halftime advantage into a 69-52 Yankee Conference victory over Eastern Maine Community College on Wednesday.
The Mustangs (11-5) fell behind early in the second half, employed a pressure defense led by Durgin and Kayla
Ellis and frustrated the Golden Eagles on the offensive end.
Sara Martin and Alex Donald canned 11 points apiece for the Mustangs while Ellis, Carrie Hayden and Tiffany Lougee
each tallied five points.
Kara Scoville and Nicole Kaulback led the Golden Eagles with 11 points each Julia Nicholas added 10.
