Lajoie Chooses CM for Women's Lacrosse & Soccer

We are pleased to announce that Brianna Lajoie has committed to play women's lacrosse and soccer at CM next year.  Brianna, who is currently a senior at Lewiston High School, was a 3-sport standout athlete for the Blue Devils.  Competing in soccer, hockey, and lacrosse during her time at Lewiston, Brianna has been recognized with numerous awards.  She was earned the Lewiston High School Girl's Hockey Unsung Hero award, the Hobey Baker Character Award for girl's hockey, and was named a KVAC 1st Team All-Star.

In addition to her athletic accomplishments, Brianna was a member of the KVAC All-Academic Team for hockey and soccer, the National Honor Society, and the National Technical Honor Society during her time at Lewiston High School.

According to Brianna, "I chose CM because I can get the college experience while still being close to home.  The family atmosphere at CM is something I haven't seen at any other school that I during my college search," she said.  "I feel that I will be able to fit in with the other students and my teammates very easily. CM is the perfect match for me!"

Comments from Women's Lacrosse coach, Sara Morris, "Brianna is a tremendous athlete who will rise to the occasion and fill a big spot on our roster.  She is a seasoned athlete who can do it all.  She will be helping in our defensive efforts, and we are counting on her to cause a lot of havoc for our opponents.  She has a mental toughness that can’t be matched.  She will be tough on the field, but off the field she has a personality that will naturally bring our individual team members together.  We are counting on Brianna to step into a big role, and I know she is ready for the challenge."
